My Story

The Huexkido Studio was established by Araceli Moreno, a Hñähñu and Wixárika woman. Araceli created the studio in order to continue learning and educating about Indigenous customs and traditions. Through cultural practices of weaving that have been around pre-colonial times, and various forms of textile knowledge, Araceli hopes to connect with other textile artists to create meaningful collaborations
